When you are about to ask a question in your reading, the most important thing is to know exactly what you want to ask. If you are unsure of what you really are asking the deck, for example if you have a loaded or two-part question, your reading can get muddled if you are asking for too much information at once. Examples of questions that you can ask are:

For example, I was giving myself my own tarot reading one day and was absolutely perplexed because one particular card did not seem to fit at all with the situation.

A few days after and having experienced more to the situation, I found that looking back at the reading that it did in fact make sense with the information that I gained in those few days and that the card, in fact, did fit. Another tip I have for you is to just make sure you are confident in your question and completely focused on it when it comes time to cut the deck.

The more focused you are on your question, the better your reading will be. The last tip I have is to become familiar with the tarot deck!
