The Strength Tarot card is one of the major arcana cards and one of the only two cards in the entire deck which features the infinity symbol. This makes it an interesting result for a yes/no question.

I have to say before we go any further that I do think yes or no Tarot questions are not always the best idea. What can seem like a simple question can actually have a lot of layers to it and asking a question like this doesn’t give the cards a chance to guide us.

You might even get the wrong answer no matter what card because the Tarot is trying to guide you beyond this narrow question.

Tarot reading is an ancient art, practised by those who claim to be able to read the future or plumb the depth of one’s soul, via communing with spirits through the medium of special tarot cards. Different cards have different meanings and it is very important whether they appear upright or reversed.

What does the strength card mean and can it be used as a yes/no card?

The Strength Tarot card is one of the Major Arcana cards. It represents inner strength, represents mastering raw emotions in order to bring calm to yourself or a situation. With its portrayal of a woman overcoming a lion not with force but with guile and cunning, the Strength card usually refers to inner challenges. Strength over our own doubts, fears and anxieties. Generally, this card means you are, or should learn to be courageous and daring and take leaps in your life decisions because you have the power to do so. Strength only shows that you have the capabilities to try something, it does not guarantee success. It does not promise, only assure of inner power.

When the Strength Tarot card appears reversed in your Tarot reading, it indicates that you are not tapping into your inner strength and are ruled by anxiety and self-doubt.

For all health-related or endurance questions, Strength means yes because it shows you have the capabilities to overcome. However, in the context of other questions, strength is very tricky., Strength does not predict an outright yes or no. Strength is telling you to remain strong, nothing more.

There are more detailed interpretations of strength when it appears as a yes or no card.

The Strength card is one of my favorite in the entire deck. It shows that beauty can grow and shine anywhere, even amongst a hard and desolate rock.

Everything in life teaches us something. Even the bad things. We should all learn to pack up the knowledge and put it in our bag of tricks for we’re sure to need it some day.

I would describe the strength card as being able to take your experience and turn it into something positive. To continue to strive for what you want and, to look back at your struggles and celebrate that you’ve been able to continue to shine.
