For example, there could be specific fears or interests that you have in this life that seem to have absolutely no reason for them. There are certain fears or interests we have that we can think back and automatically know the instant they originated, but others remain a mystery.

Past Life Taro Card Spread

You begin with the #1 card which is placed in the middle of the table. It is this card which represents you in a past life. This past life should turn out to be pertinent as to things both negative and positive which have been affecting you in the present life.

Next you draw the #2 card which is placed in the upper left hand corner. This card represents an event from your past life that was left unresolved. It could be something upsetting, or merely disturbing, perhaps just puzzling, but you need to be aware of what it is.

The #3 card goes in the upper right hand corner and indicates how this past life affects you in the present.

The #4 card is put in the next row beneath the #2 card. It explains why you need to finally fully and completely resolve this pressing issue. This is the card that makes you think about how the above event has affected you in this life, so that you will understand that you need to take action to change your behavior.

The next card you choose is the #5 card, and it goes next to the #4 card on the right, and indicates how you can resolve this open issue. In other words, what you need to do in order to erase this problem from your subconscious mind. You need to take this seriously and realize that if you don’t do what is necessary, you can end up having this issue trouble you for the rest of your life.

Now you draw the #6 card which contains an important lesson that you must come to completely understand. Place this card beneath the #3 card. This could be an essential part to understanding who you are today.

The final card you draw is the #7 card and goes beneath the #5 card. This card contains either a form of energy or a characteristic from your past life that you should attempt to integrate into your present life because it will help you on your life journey. This is usually something good, an asset. Perhaps the trait of courage or bravery.

Now you are finished. Give careful contemplation to the cards in front of you and determine exactly what each one means to you, and how you need to respond to what it has revealed. Examine your life thoroughly and see if the cards are accurate. They are seldom wrong if you are honest with yourself, which can sometimes be difficult to do.

Depending on what you discover during this reading, you may want to continue on with exploring your past lives. That can be a good thing, as the farther back you go, the deeper you delve, the better understanding of yourself and how to change what you need to in order to succeed you will obtain. The secrets to living your present life in the best way often lay in discovering your past.
