Discovering that you are pregnant can be a wonderful thing, but for most people, the few minutes that pass before checking the test are very nerve wracking, and lots of the time, it brings disappointment. Tarot readings can soften the blow of disappointment, but it is risky to rely on an answer from the cards, as they are a spiritual reading rather than a medical one — this doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try though. What are the pregnancy tarot cards? Keep reading for more!

Pregnancy Questions to Ask the Tarot

Obviously, there are loads of different questions you can ask a tarot reader, and usually, they need to be quite specific in order to get the answer you desire. Lots of questions about pregnancy are off-limits with most tarot readers, as a lot of people will read the answer they hope for, rather than the truth, which makes lots of readings unreliable. However, the question will not be dismissed by the reader, if it is specific enough, so you could find the advice you seek by asking questions like:

* When should I expect pregnancy?

* Will this year bring pregnancy for me?

* Should I seek medical advice about infertility?

These are all valid things to ask, but even then your card reader may still refuse. This is because pregnancy tarot cards can bring exciting news for some people and the reader does not want to be blamed if the answer turns out not to be true.

Which Tarot Cards Show Pregnancy?

If you are someone who likes to read their own cards, rather than paying a professional, then there are certain images which are more linked with pregnancy than others. Obviously, this depends on the pack which you own, as lots of the images will be different, however, some common pregnancy tarot cards are:

Pages

The page of cups and page of pentacles are both related to children and fertility. If you find yourself with these cards, it could mean that you are able to get pregnant but have not yet.

Aces

The aces themselves do not show pregnancy per se, however, combined with the moon, the ace of cups, ace of stars and ace of pentacles may represent fertility and an oncoming period of conception.

Queens

As they are women, almost all the queens can be linked with pregnancy, depending on the other cards that have been dealt. The Queen of Pentacles, in particular, is known as ‘the mother card’, so receiving this could mean that you are either currently pregnant, or there is pregnancy in your future.

The Empress and The Star

Both of these cards have a strong presence in children, fertility and conception. These cards are possibly the most likely to show pregnancy, but again, it all depends on the cards that are dealt.

It is always important to remember your reading structure as well so that you can obviously see which cards show past, present and future. If you have already had children before, and pregnancy, fertility or children are shown, then this is probably linked more with your previous pregnancy and your future with your current children, rather than any new ones. But remember, the most important thing is to keep hopeful!
