Tarot cards are an ancient, mysterious art, shrouded in spiritual haziness and surrounded by whispers of the past, the present and the future converging, aligning and inter-playing. Tarots can be difficult to interpret as they interact with one another and have only vague symbolism that must be applied to your specific question.

The Queen of Pentacles is an interesting result for a yes or no question but before we get too much into the meaning I want to make sure you’re asking the cards properly.

Tarot cards do not exist in a vacuum. Their meaning shifts depending on their relation to other cards so if you’re only using a single card it’s extremely hard to get a meaningful answer from the Tarot and very easy to misread. That said (assuming you understand the rest of the context) let’s look at the Queen of Pentacles.

The Queen of Pentacles tarot card depicts a woman sitting regally upon a golden throne. She has coal-black eyes and sweeping jet hair draped over royal robes. Her throne is bedecked with hanging fruit, usually apples, goats and rabbits as well as a Cupid’s arrow trail around her. The tree above and around her throne is enriched with blossoming flowers and the queen herself holds a solitary flower, depicting her prosperity.

The Queen of Pentacles is a card rooted in tradition and family values, she represents a person, most likely a woman, who is financially adept, practical and pragmatic. She represents financial aid. She is a harbinger of wealth but requires the feminine traits of love and self-acceptance as well as a fearlessness to face the future and seize the day to achieve your goals.

Yes and no tarot spreads are the most difficult of all to interpret. On a simple level, does the Queen of pentacles mean a yes or no? The Queen of Pentacles card usually represents a yes, however, it could also mean that whilst another person is interested in you, they could be attached to another so it doesn’t guarantee success in your endeavors. In clear cut cases, for example, am I pregnant tarot spreads, then yes the Queen is a symbol of fertility and means a yes.In certain cases, for example, reconciling with an ex, the queen of pentacles tarot card means no.

So the short version it really depends. This is not a conclusive card which is going to give an answer but that means something in itself. If you just keep drawing cards until you get the answer you were expecting you might as well just flip a coin as you’re ignoring the message the Tarot is trying to give you.
